While trekking to beautiful Langtang Valley, you will come across many small gorges, meadows and deep forest as you continue your trek. Dominated by beautiful Langtang ranges, this trek is a perfect fit for the ones looking for some adventure up in the mountains. The trail to Langtang Valley mainly goes through pine, rhododendron, fir, and bamboo forests, along everfalling waterfalls, and under spectacular snow-capped mountains such as Langtang Lirung (7,245m), Dorje Lakpa (6,990m), Langtang Ri (6,370m), etc. As we pass through Langtang National Park, we'll have an excellent opportunity to encounter endangered and native animal species of this region such as Himalayan deer, Himalayan bears, Himalayan pheasants, monkeys, and the elusive red panda, etc. Kyanjin Gompa, majestic Langtang ranges, yak pastures, local cheese factories are the main highlights of this trek.
Trek to the beautiful Langtang valley starts with the scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi. The trail takes us through colorful forests and village settlements and farmlands of Langtang people, many of who are of Tibetan origin. As our trail moves forward, we can see a highly affected area by the 2015 earthquake. Langtang Region was destroyed by the 2015 earth tremor. With the help of local people and neighboring villages and some teahouses and lodges have been rebuilt. This trek could also be the best chance to help those needy people, in the meantime, you can also enjoy the adventure that the Langtang Region has to offer.
