Introduction
Situated to the north of Kathmandu in the beautiful Langtang Valley, Yala Peak (5,732m) is one of the most beautiful and easier peaks to climb. Langtang Region of Nepal is close to the Nepal-Tibet border, allowing a fascinating influence and traditions unique to the mountain people. The summit offers amazing good views of mountains of Nepal and Tibet including Langtang Lirung(7,246m), Lenpo Gang (7083m), Ganesh Himal, Naya Kanga, Dorje Lakpa (6990m), Gangchempo (6388m), Shishapangma( 8027m), etc. The Yala Peak climb is not much technical thus prior climbing experience is not required. However, previous climbing or trekking experience and a good level of fitness is an advantage. The adventure trip to Yala Peak climbing goes through the Langtang National Park which gives you amazing natural scenes, spectacular landscapes, historical monasteries red blooming rhododendron along with exploration of endangered species including Snow Leopard, Red Panda, etc. The months of September to November and March to July are the best months for this adventure.
Yala Peak Climbing is the best choice for those who wish to stand on a Himalayan peak but have a limited amount of time, experience and budget available. We begin the journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi which takes about 5 hours drive. We go through dazzling Langtang Valley to Kyanjin Gompa (3,800m) and explore the history and culture of the region. Kyanjun Gompa is located below Langtang Lirung (7,246m) which is the famous refreshing point for trekkers in this region with picturesque surroundings. Then we head towards Yala Peak via Yala Base Camp. Taking your feet in the summit of Yala Peak is an achievement for a lifetime. After enjoying the best of Yala Peak, we descend to Syabru Besi and drive back to Kathmandu.

Food
During Tashi Yala Peak Climbing, you'll get typically traditional meals including standard breakfast, lunch, and dinner which includes Nepali Dal, Bhat, and Vegetables which are the most popular dish. Teahouses provide cookies, soft drinks, chocolate, French fries, and even seasonable fruits. The teahouses of remote areas will provide delicious and hygienic food options menu for trekkers. There will be bread, cereal, egg, porridge, varieties of rice and noodles dishes with tasty soup, pizza, burger, as well as seasonable vegetables, burgers, etc will be for lunch and dinner. In climbing days, we'll provide a cooking crew who'll provide the best and fresh food for you throughout the camping journey.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be in a remote area of tea houses in Nepal most of the time. Trekkers will be provided a normal, clean, and functional twin sharing accommodation room. You will be provided with single-sized beds with sheets, blankets, and pillows and an extra blanket or single room can be provided upon request. For extra comfort, you can bring a camping mat/thermarest- which is your personal choice. As you go to a higher altitude, you may not find teahouses. Our team will provide camp to stay overnight. We'll spend nights in Camp until the availability of guesthouses.
