Introduction

Standing tall at a height of 6,187m, Pachermo Peak Climbing is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling peaks to climb in the Everest region. The peak was first climbed in 1955, which leads you through Rolwaling region trekking, Tashi Lapcha pass & Khumbu Himalayan trails. It is a challenging and difficult trekking peak, so trekkers with previous trekking or climbing experience are suggested to go for this adventure. The trail to Pachermo Peak takes you through beautiful river valleys before emerging in high alpine country and you'll be rewarded with excellent views of Gaurisankar, Melungtse, and other stunning peaks. Views from the summit of Pachermo Peak are just pleasing, where you'll see the majestic landscape of Rolwaling and as far as Langtang on a clear day. The route to Pachermo Peak is very less-visited and is close to the Tibetan border offering insights into Tibetan culture and history in the northeast of Nepal. The months of Mar-May and Sep-Nov are perfect for this adventure.

The adventure towards Pachermo Peak starts with a thrilling flight to Lukla and trekking towards the Thame village via Namche Bazaar, a beautiful Sherpa town in Everest Region. The trek involves steep climbing, lots of patience, and rock climbing, a thrilling and adventurous journey to the top of Pachermo Peak. After reaching Pachermo Peak, we explore the best Pachermo Peak provides and descend back to Lukla via Thame and fly to Kathmandu.

Trek Highlights

  • Pachermo Peak at 6,187m
  • Sherpa culture and Tibetan culture
  • Stunning mountains: Everest, Gaurisankar, Melungtse, etc

Food

Most of the teahouses or lodges in Pachermo Peak Climbing trails cook a delicious range of food items for you where you'll have a variety of food options. You can expect to see momos (dumplings), potatoes, pasta, pizza, bread, cooked vegetables, sandwiches, dal baht (lentil soup, rice, and vegetables), and even desserts such as apple pie and cheesecake. You will find a lot of garlic on the menu because it helps you with acclimatization and we also recommend you to have garlic soup regularly to prevent high altitude problems. If there are no teahouses, we'll provide you a kitchen crew, who'll provide the hygienic, quality and tasty food for you.

Accommodation

Accommodation services and price varies according to the remoteness and altitude of the place, along with the standard of the room. During Pachermo Peak Climbing, you cannot expect luxurious hotels and lodges. You have to stay in twin-sharing or three sharing rooms and you can get a single room upon request but you've to pay extra for that. Most of the teahouses will have a shared bathroom and in lower elevation, you'll also find a room with an attached bathroom. There are a few places where you won't even find teahouses, so you've to stay in a tent. You don't have to worry about anything, our team will assist you with everything to provide you the best accommodation service.
