Introduction
Standing tall at an elevation of 6,144m to the south of the Thorong La in the Annapurna Region, Thorong Peak happens to be one of the most popular and safe peaks to climb in Nepal. It is a fascinating Peak climbing destination that is famous for its natural wilderness, majestic waterfalls and glaciers, exotic trekking trail, the unique culture of the Annapurna Region, and adventurous snow-covered trekking region. Thorong Peak Climbing is the beautiful mixture of natural and cultural aspects of the mountain region with rich culture and eye-pleasing beauty. The area is mainly inhabited by Gurung communities practicing typical culture and traditions, you'll get to explore their culture, history, and lifestyle during this adventure. Thorong Peak climbing is technically challenging so our experienced Sherpa climber will help you with every step and train you with how to use ice axes and ropes, and snow and rock climbing skills. The trek goes through the beautiful Manang Valley which offers picturesque villages, waterfalls, rivers, rhododendron forests, and abundant wildlife. We'll also cross Thorong La Pass at 5,416m, one of the highest passes in the world, during this trek. Months of September and March-May are the perfect months to sign up for this trek.
Thorong Peak Climbing adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar and Syange. From Syange we ascend towards the Highlands of Annapurna Region through a picturesque valley, lush green forest of rhododendron and oak, steep hills and mountains, cultural villages, etc. The summit of Thorong Peak offers the best view of Tilicho peak, Dhaulagiri Range, Nilgiri Peak, Annapurna Range, etc. Then we descend back, visit Muktinath and Jomsom, and fly back to Kathmandu.

Accommodation
The accommodations during Thorong Peak Climbing are hotels, and lodges commonly known as tea houses. Most of the rooms are on a twin-sharing basis where you'll get a mattress, pillow, sheets, and blankets and they even provide extra blankets upon request. Teahouses in this region are well managed and a few of them even provide western facilities like hot showers and flush toilets. In high altitude, there won't be any teahouses, so we'll set up a camp/tent for you to spend overnight. During your stay in Kathmandu, you'll get a luxurious accommodation service.
Food
Most of the teahouses are run by local people who provide you with good bed, breakfast, lunch, and dinner facilities with warm hospitality. The teahouses provide a variety of on-site prepared hot meals. You'll have a food option of typical Nepali, Tibetan, Nepalese, Chinese, and even Indian and Italian dishes at the tea houses. On the camping trek, we'll provide excellent cooks to prepare hot and delicious foods for you. Our experienced cook will prepare both western and eastern dishes for you.

Welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our airport representatives will receive you and direct transfer to the hotel in our private vehicle. Overnight at the hotel in Thamel.
Day 2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing
Special day, where we're taking you to some of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu including Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath. Then we return to the hotel and in the evening, you can roam around Thamel local market and buy necessary things that are required for Thorong Peak Climbing. In the hotel, you'll meet your guide and there will be a meeting regarding Thorong Peak Climbing where you can ask all your queries. Overnight stay.
Day 3 : Drive to Bhulbhule via Besi Sahar , alt. 890m
Early morning drive to Bhulbhule goes through the river view & Nepalese countryside. Bhulbhule is a countryside hill in the footsteps of Annapurna & Manasalu which is also the starting point of our trek. Overnight stay.
Day 4 : Trek to Jagat , alt 1300m
The adventure going to start after breakfast, and we have to get ready as soon as possible with suitable gears and items. The trek starts following the Marsyandgi river and following few wooden bridges, suspension bridges, waterfalls, rice paddies, and forest. We reach Jagat after 7-8 hours of a long walk for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Trek to Dharapani ,.alt 1900m
We start our early morning trek and it leads you through waterfall, rocky lands and trails with passes through small teashops to reach Manang district. We cross the river and walk on a high cliff to reach Dharapani for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Trek to Chame , alt. 2600m
1 hour of walk from Dharapani takes you to Bagarchhap and you'll see the first glimpse of Mt. Annapurna II very close. Chame is also a district headquarter of Manang district from where you can have the spectacular views of Mt. Lamjung and Mt. Annapurna II. Overnight at a teahouse in Chame.
Day 7 : Trek to Lower Pisang , alt. 3100m.
Today you'll mostly walk on a narrow and steep path with a very dense pine forest. We follow the river bank which first leads us to the village of Bratang where you can taste local Apple products. After 6 hours of continuous walk, we reach Lower Pisang for an overnight stay.
Day 8 : Trek to Manang , alt .3500m
While trekking to Manang, you'll see Yaks grazing on the pasturelands and can sense strong Buddhist faith in the area. After arriving at Manang, you'll get to see several monasteries and mountains from the village. Overnight stay.
Day 9 : Rest day (hike to chhonkor view point 3800m)
Free day at Manang village gives you an opportunity to explore the village area and its surroundings, know about local culture, visit historical monasteries, taste local cuisines with apple products and capture every moment on your camera. Overnight stay.
Day 10 : Trek to Yak Kharka , alt 4050m
We begin our walk with steady ascent enjoying majestic views with delightful geography. This region is well known for its cultural diversity and sublime beauty. On the way to Yak Kharka, you'll see several Yak pasture fields. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
Day 11 : Trek to Phedi or High camp
Today's walk takes you to Phedi which is located at the base of the Thorong La pass (5,416m). You'll find a few guesthouses to spend the night there. After crossing Kone River and we continue our journey to reach Thorong Phedi for an overnight stay.
Day 12 : Trek to Thorong peak base camp , alt 5416m
Today, we'll also hike up to the Thorong La Pass, which is the highest pass in the world. Hike to Thorong La Pass is not hard but it could get challenging due to the unpredictable weather changes. Our journey to Thorong Peak Base Camp provides an amazing view of Annapurna Massif. Overnight at base camp.
Day 13 : Preparation and training for climbing
Trek to Thorong Peak is not an easy job. Climbing up to 6,144m takes a lot of energy, training, and techniques. So, today, our expert guides will teach you techniques regarding peak climbing, basic instruction and tell you how to use climbing tools. Overnight at Base Camp.
Day 14 : Climbing Throrong peak and back to base camp , alt 5416m
The day is finally here, you're going to step on the height of 6,144m which is an achievement for a lifetime. From the pinnacle of Thorong Peak, you can see the view of Kali Gandaki Valley, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Ranges. We descend back to Base camp for overnight stay.
Day 15 : Trek back to Muktinath , alt 3800m
Ours descend back journey starts as we are heading towards the holiest place of the region, Muktinath. Muktinath is popular as the famous Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site. We visit Muktinath periphery, bath on holy water and spend overnight.
Day 16 : Trek to Jomsom , alt 2700m
After exploring Muktinath's surroundings, we start our trek to Jomsom. During our stay at Jomsom, you can try local apple products, local cuisines and enjoy the magnificent views of mountains from the guesthouse. Overnight stay.
Day 17 : Fly to Pokhara , alt 740m
Finally, we leave Jomsom behind and fly to the city of Lakes, Pokhara. Pokhara is a popular and beautiful city full of natural beauty. In Pokhara, you can enjoy the nightlife, visit the Lakeside, and taste local street food. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 18 : Fly or drive back to Kathmandu , alt 1300m
This is the last day of Thorong Peak adventure. Today we'll drive/fly to Kathmandu and after reaching Kathmandu, our team will bid you farewell and help you to get your next destination.
