Introduction

Situated between the  Chola Pass and Everest Base Camp, Lobuche East Peak is one of the most popular trekking peaks in Nepal which shares the same trekking route to Everest. The massive Louche East peak stands at  6,119m. , and is recognized as a trekking peak, whereas the Lobuche West is known as an Expedition Peak.  From the summit of Lobuche East Peak, you'll get to witness stunning views of Everest alongside Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Pumori. This itinerary will also take you to other main highlights of the Everest region like Kala Pathar, which provides an excellent view of Everest along with other high mountains. It is a challenging trek that goes through difficult trails, so trekkers with previous trekking and climbing experience are suggested to sign up for this trek. It is a magnificent walking adventure that goes through the heart of the Everest region and introduces you to the local Sherpa culture, breathtaking mountains, and less-traveled trails.

Your adventure to Lobuche East Peak begins with a 35-minute flight through the spectacular Himalayan range to the historic village of Lukla. The trek passes through colorful rhododendron, pine forest, and numerous historic villages including Namche Bazaar, the famous Sherpa village, Tengboche, the historical place of the Buddhist monastery, Pangboche the highest Sherpa village in the region and Dingboche.  From Dingboche, we go to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep and hike up to Kala Pattar at 5,545m which is a great option to witness the views of Mt. Everest. Then we descend back to Lobuche allowing one day of acclimatization before we go for the Lobuche Peak climb. Taking your feet at the height of 6,119m is a different feeling which is an achievement for a lifetime. You'll have great views from the summit of East Lobuche East Peak. We descend back to Lukla via the same route and fly back to Kathmandu.

Most of the teahouses or lodges in Lobuche East Peak Climbing trails cook a delicious range of food items for you where you'll have a variety of food options. You can expect food dishes like Pasta, tuna bake, eggs, daal Bhat(rice and lentils), bread, noodles, potatoes, soup, fresh vegetables, and even some desserts like pancakes, apple pies, etc. We recommend you have organic and local food to make yourself healthy and strong throughout this trek. You will find a lot of garlic on the menu because it helps you with acclimatization. Each day dinner and breakfast will be at a lodge you'll stay at and we'll have lunch on the way to the destination. If there are no teahouses, we'll provide you with a kitchen crew, who'll provide hygienic, quality, and tasty food for you.

Accommodation

Most of the rooms in teahouses are usually small and on a twin-sharing basis & dormitories are also where you'll get a clean mattress, blanket, and pillow. Most of the teahouses will have a shared bathroom and in lower elevations, you'll also find a room with an attached bathroom. There are a few places where you won't even find teahouses, so you've to stay in a tent. Good Times In Nepal With Dinesh, Bharat and the Nature Explore Team

I got introduced to Dinesh Karki (company founder) through a mutual friend during a climbing expedition to "Mera Peak". Since than, Dinesh has been my "go-to" man for anything and everything in Nepal, from general sightseeing tours in Kathmandu to organising all the logistics for high altitude climbing expeditions in the Himalayas.

There are literally thousands (no exaggeration) of trekking agencies in Nepal, all competing for the same business. How much you enjoy your trip depends a lot on who you choose. Choose someone who is organised, flexible and accomodating of your concerns, for it is your hard earned cash that you are parting away with.

I chose Dinesh to organise all the logistics for my recent trip - Ama Dablam Base Camp, a crossing of all three passes in the Everest Region (Kongma La, Cho La and Renjo La) as well as a summit attempt of Lobuje East (6, 119 metres).

The trip went as per plan - Successfully crossed all three passes and summited Lobuje East.

Dinesh's hospitality and service didn't end there. Once I was back in Kathmandu, he went out of his way to introduce me to his family, took me sightseeing and ensured that my requests were catered for.
