Introduction
Jomsom and Muktinath are one of most famous pilgrimage spots for both the Hindus and Buddhists and perfect trekking area for Travelers. This trek is a perfect mixture of stunning landscapes and ancient cultures and traditions. Our trail passes through quaint villages, cascading waterfalls, lush forests in the lap of Himalayas. We go along the Kaligandaki River Gorge and at the majestic peaks of Annapurna I, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. You’ll get a chance to explore the centuries-old monasteries, local tribes, and giant caves, different species of animals along with the eye-catching natural beauty. The highest point of this trek is Muktinath (3,710m). The best seasons for this trek are October to November and January and February.
Our trek starts with a drive to Nayapul from Pokhara, and the trek commences onto several villages, several waterfalls, suspension bridges, pine, rhododendron and, oak forests with the astonishing Himalayan scene surrounding us. You’ll get a chance to explore and indulge in the cultural haven of the Tibetan monasteries with their prayer wheels and flags. The trek goes towards Beni and reaches to the Muktinath temple through the Kaligandaki and Muktinath valley. The sacred temple has 108 sprouts of water and there is a belief that if you take a bath here, it will cleanse and atone your sins. We will move downhill to Jomsom via the same route and our trek ends at Pokhara.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: We will first start our Kathmandu Sightseeing tour from Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is also known as Basantapur or Hanumandhoka Durbar Square. The name Hanuman Dhoka Durbar is originated from the statue of Hanuman set up by the King Pratap Malla in 1672 at the passage of the regal royal residence. There are many temples, shrines, courtyards, and a palace inside the Durbar square.
Swyambhunath Stupa: After exploring historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, we head towards Sqyambhunath Stupa. The stupa is said to be more than 2,000 years’ old which is among the most ancient in this part of the world and its worshippers are many diverse people like Newar nuns, Brahmin Priests, Tibetan monks, and lay Buddhist and Hindus. Swayambhu is a major attraction of the Kathmandu valley and It provides an excellent view of the Kathmandu valley.
Boudhanath Stupa: After Lunch, we continue our tour of the largest stupa in Nepal. Boudhanath is amazing and amongst the most famous tourist attraction in Kathmandu City. It is a 36-meter-high stupa and is one of the biggest stupas in South Asia. Surrounding Bouddhanath area is Souvenir shops, monasteries, stores, and restaurants.
Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath is the final destination of our city tour and is the most famous Hindu temple in Nepal, probably in the world. It is one of the most sacred places for Hindu Pilgrims all around the world. The temple lies in the bank of holy Bagmati River and the main highlights of this temple is a golden pagoda tier roofs and four silver doors. You can also attend Pashupati Aarati in the evening if you’re interested.
If you choose to go by Air then you will have free time in the afternoon at Pokhara, you can visit Braai temple, David fall, and International Mountain Museum and many more interesting places. Your Tour Guide will lead you to places of historical and Cultures &Religions of the regions. If you go by ROAD to Pokhara from Kathmandu will reach Pokhara late afternoon and on the way to Pokhara, you can stop at Manakamana Temple for a few hours. ManakamanaTemple is situated on the hill; you will travel by cable car. Once you reach Pokhara time permitting you can visit some places around the Fewa Lake and Baraeei Temple. Before dinner, you will be briefed regarding next day activities.
Early in the morning you will drive to airport, then you will fly to Jomsom about 25 minutes by small air through the Annapurna mountains view, once you land in Jomsom then after hot tea you shall drive to Muktinath by jeep about 1 hour, when you reach in jeep station in Muktinath still you have to walk 20 minutes to reach main temple get, or you can hire a horse or motorbike too, After Darsan, Puja you will walk back to Muktinath town for lunch then you will drive back to Jomsom for overnight stay and fly back to Pokhara next day
After breakfast you will drive back to Kathmandu by rode 6 to 7 hours, if you came by air it takes only 30 minutes, once you reach in Kathmandu then you will have free time to explore around the markets.
