Trek Highlights
Food
You'll get the food of very good quality, and we recommend you try local foods while on high-altitude such as dal bhat, boiled potatoes, Sherpa stew (potatoes, meat, vegetables in a rich sauce) or curry with rice but most of the lodge will also offer a wide range of western meals. Our team will help with menu selection and ensure that you get the best hygienic and nutritious food. Most of the tea houses offer a variety of rice and noodle dishes, as well as seasonal vegetables. If you are in Kathmandu, you'll have plenty of options to choose from.
Accommodation
During your EBC and Gokyo Lake Trek, you'll be staying in teahouses most of the time which are comfortable, clean, warm and very well managed, but they do become more basic as you up to higher elevation. Teahouses or guesthouse are your accommodation with twin bed sharing room or triple single as per your choice. You'll find the attached bathroom in lower height area but most of the tea houses don’t have to attach bathroom and in some undeveloped area there won't even be a tea house and lodges so you'll have to bring all stuff like Tent, food and all your necessary items. You'll be staying in a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu with luxurious facilities.
