Best Season to do the Renjola pass Trek

You'll find a very convenient meal in teahouses during this trek, not like that in cities, but we make sure you get the best supplements through your complete trek. During Renjo La Pass Trek,  we assure you to make you feel homely with close interaction with local mountain people and warm hospitality. In higher elevation, the lodging facility declines a bit as in mountain regions it's difficult to provide all facilities like in Kathmandu city. In most of the teahouses, you'll have a squat toilet system and a twin-sharing room with mattresses, blanket and pillows will be available. Welcome to this beautiful city. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will pick you up and direct transfer you to the hotel. In the evening, you can go to the Thamel.

Day 2: Early morning flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding alt 2610m

You'll meet your trek guide early morning and hotel staff will help you to transfer to the airport for your flight to Lukla. This flight is a thrilling adventure in itself and you'll get the beautiful glimpse of mountains upon your arrival at the airport at Lukla. Then we start our walk to Phakding and stay overnight.

Day 3: Trek to Namche bazaar alt 3400m

Our trek goes upstream to Dhud Koshi River climbing gradually in the starting hour of the trek. As we walk up, Thamsherku starts to appear and it gives us extra energy for our further trek. After reaching Namche Bazaar, you'll see the first glimpse of Mt Everest and many other peaks. Namche situated on the mountain land with a view of Kongdi Ri and Thamserku towards the south. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Acclimatization day

Namche Bazaar is the perfect place for acclimatization which is also the major trading hub between Nepal and Tibet. On this free day, we can go for a hike to witness the view of Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Overnight stay.

Day 5: Trek to Dole Alt 4200m

Early morning, we follow the same route of the Base camp until Sanasa and ascends to Mongla from where you will see spectacular views of various mountains. The trek goes steeply and descends passing through Phortse Tenga and trail climbs steeply to Dole. Overnight stay.

Day 6: Trek to Machermo alt 4400m

After breakfast at a lodge, we climb steadily along the side of the valley, where you'll come across small and thorny bushes of juniper as the altitude increases and summer settlements. We conclude today's trek at Machermo and spend overnight.

Day 7: Trek to Gokyo lake (alt. 4700m)and hike to Gokyo- RI alt.5360m.)

The big day is waiting for us. We wake up early, freshen up and have breakfast at the lodge and head towards pristine Gokyo Lake and also hike to Gokyo Ri to get the best view of mountains of the region. You'll get to see famous mountains including Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Cholatse (6440m), Taboche (6367m), etc.

Day 8: Trek Lungden via Renjo la pass Alt 5360m

This is the most important day of our trek as we climb up towards Renjo La Pass at 5,360m. From the top of the pass, you can see beautiful valley and mountains such as Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Gyachung Kang, etc. We go down to Lungden for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Trek back to Namche alt 3400m

After breakfast at a lodge, we head down towards Sherpa town, Namche via rhododendron and pine forest. On the way to Namche, you may also encounter varieties of flora and fauna. Overnight at Namche.

Day 10 Trek back to Lukla , alt. 2780m.

On the way to Lukla, we pass through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa villages to reach Lukla. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful walks of our trek. After reaching Lukla, we'll celebrate the success of our trek and spend overnight. 

Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu , alt. 1300m.

Finally, we are going back to the Kathmandu valley with a thrilling flight over running clouds. We'll reach Kathmandu with 30-35 minutes of flight and spare time we can spend by going around the Thamel market and do a lot of shopping. Overnight stay.

Day 12: Departure. alt. 1300m.

This is the final day of Renjo La Pass Trek, our team will drop you at the airport for your flight back home.

    Yes, you can get an arrival visa at Trivubhan international airport. Visa cost per person US$25 for 15 days of single/multiple entries, US$40 for 30 days of single/multiple entries, US$100 for 90 days of single/multiple entries. Those individual passport holders from the member of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) do not need to pay a visa fee for 30 days

    Nepal has a diverse weather and climatic variation, to four different seasons: autumn (or fall), winter, spring, and summer (also monsoon). The seasons in Nepal are comparable to those seen in Europe but really quite unique from those in Australia. It is cold in December and January, but you can get away with shorts and T-shirts in June and July. Nepal has a temperate climate, which means that the winters are dry and the summers are hot.
