Introduction
Situated in the west of the Khumbu Region, Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek happens to be one of the most challenging and beautiful treks. The trek offers walk-in a remote part of this region, stunning mountain views, diverse flora and fauna, and rich local cultures. The trek takes you to the challenging yet rewarding Tashi Lapcha pass (5,755m), and the strikingly beautiful Tso Rolpa ice lake. From the high pass, one can have the breathtaking scenery of and panoramic snow-covered Himalayan peaks soaring high in the sky. The diversity in flora and fauna, rich local culture, warm hospitality, and heritage adds more good taste to this trek. The trek is technically challenging, so we recommend trekker with previous trekking experience to sign up for this trek. The trail goes through the untouched ridges and valleys below the Gaurishankar Himalaya range. This adventure combines a wide variety of scenery, passing through beautiful and less-traveled villages, while we enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Gaurishanker, Jugal Himal, and other mountains.
The Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek commences with a scenic drive to Shigatte from Kathmandu. From Shigatte, we pass through various villages like Jagat, Simigaun, Donga, and Bedding to reach the valley of Rolwaling. Then we proceed towards Yalung Base Camp and ascend to Tso Rolpa and then to Rolwaling Glacier which is situated just below Rolwaling Glacier. Finally, we move towards Tashi Lapcha Pass from where one can have the best view of mountains and high passes. Then we descend to Namche via Thame and make our way to Kathmandu via a flight from Lukla.

Food
During Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek, you'll get typically traditional meals including standard breakfast, lunch, and dinner which includes Nepali Dal, Bhat, and Vegetables which are the most popular dishes. Teahouses provide cookies, soft drinks, chocolate, French fries, and even seasonable fruits. The teahouses of remote areas will provide delicious and hygienic food options menu for trekkers. There will be bread, cereal, egg, porridge, and varieties of rice and noodles dishes with tasty soup, pizza, and burgers, as well as seasonable vegetables, burgers, etc. for lunch and dinner. After setting camp, we'll provide a cooking crew who'll provide the best fresh food for you throughout the camping journey.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be in a remote area tea house in Nepal most of the time. Trekkers will be provided a normal, clean, and functional twin-sharing accommodation room. You will be provided with single-sized beds with sheets, blankets, and pillows and an extra blanket or single room can be provided upon request. As you go to a higher altitude, you may not find teahouses. Our team will provide camp to stay overnight. We'll spend nights in Camp until the availability of guesthouses.

Day 10-Pachermuche to Thame(3800m)

Day 1- Drive to Gonger and trekking to Simigaun(2000m)
Our trek starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Gonger. After reaching Gonger, we start walking towards Simigaun. As we proceed upwards, we come across the flat path and it ascends and descends through the thick jungle. You'll come across many villages and suspension bridges on the trail. Overnight stay at Simigaun.
Day 2 – Trek to Donga(2800m.)
Early morning walk from Simigaun passes through colorful rhododendron-bamboo forest and enters the Rolwaling valley. Then we climb gradually towards Gyalche and eventually descends back down to the river. We set the camp and stay overnight at Donga.
Day 3 – Donga to Bedding (3640m)
On the trail to Bedding, we can see stunning Melungtse I (7181m), Rolwaling's highest summit. Beding is a small beautiful village well known amongst Everest summiteers. We set up our camp at the river bank near Bedding for overnight.
Day 4 – Acclimatize day
Before going up to higher elevation, we take rest at Bedding village. On a free day, we can also hike to the Malung La pass (5616m) which will help with acclimatization. During the hike, you'll get to see more than ten snowy peaks and glaciers. Overnight at Bedding.
Day 5 – Trekking to na(4200m.)
On the way to Na, you'll have an opportunity to explore untouched glacial lakes and pristine water. You'll also see the close view of mountains including Chobutse (6685m), Chugimago (6259m) and Yalung Ri (5630m), etc. Overnight at Na.
Day 6 - Acclimatize day, hike to Yalung –ri(5600m.)
Today is yet another day for acclimatization at Na village. You can visit nearby monasteries, and spectacular mountains such as Gauri Shanker, Menlung, Yalung from the camp.
Day 7- Trek to Niduk kongma (4700m.)
The trail goes up to the dam that holds back the Tsho-Rolpa Lake and continues along the south bank. The trail is easy and short that takes you to Niduk Kongma. We set camp at Niduk Kongma and spend overnight stay.
Day 8 – Niduk Kongma to Drolambu Glacier(5220m.)
The trail goes towards Trakarding glacier which is a huge, impressive rocky area that gives way to large sections of bluish ice from time to time. We conclude today's trek at Dolumbau glacier. Overnight stay.
Day 9 – Drolambu glacier to Parchermuche camp(5150) via Tashi lapcha pass
Today's trek is going to be tricky and steep but we will make it happen to get rewarded by the spectacular views of Bigphero-Go Shar (6729m), Tengi Ragi Tau (6943m), Dragkar-Go (6793m), etc. We cross Tashi Lapcha Pass which happens to be the main destination of our trek and reach Parchermuche Camp for overnight stay.
Day 10-Pachermuche to Thame(3800m)
The relative walk takes us to the picturesque monastery perched on the hillside before entering the small Sherpa village of Thame. We can visit several monasteries in Thame which is also the trading hub of this region. Overnight stay.
Day 11-Trek to Namche(3440m.)
The day commences with a gradual descent and then becomes steep before crossing the bridge of DudhKoshi to PhunkiTenga. Trek to Namche is easy and full of mountain views around. Overnight at Namche.
Day 12 - Rest day
After a long and difficult walk, you must be feeling tired, so we will be resting at Namche Bazaar. In the meantime, you can explore the local market, know about the Sherpa lifestyle and people of the mountain region. Overnight stay.
Day 13 - Namche to Lukla (2800m)
The trek commences after breakfast at the famous Sherpa town to the famous Lukla. We can celebrate the success of the trek, set camp there, you can interact with your mates, talk about trek memories and others. Overnight at Lukla.
Day 14 - Fly to Kathmandu
Early morning, we fly to Kathmandu from Lukla over snow-covered mountains, human settlements, green hills, and cities. We conclude this trek at Kathmandu and our staff will help you to reach your next destination.
