Food menu during this trek is a blend of traditional local, Asian and continental cuisines which will be all home-cooked,fresh, hygienic, delicious and nutritious. You can select your favorite dish from the menu available at the teahouse or lodge. Accommodation during Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is at local teahouses which are essentially hotels but with a more homely feel. Teahouses are run by the locals and provide all the basic facilities including hot water at a low extra cost. The rooms are simple and clean but comfortable usually with twin beds with mattress blanket and pillows. Some teahouses will have en suit bathroom but most have shared bathrooms with a squat toilet. But anyway you'll get a chance to experience the rich Nepalese hospitality as well as interact with them. When you're in Kathmandu and Pokhara city, we'll stay in a 3-star hotel.

We leave Pokhara early morning and trek to Pothana via Kande. Panoramic views of mountains including Annapurna, Machapuchare, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Lamjung Himal will welcome you upon your arrival. Overnight at Pothana.
The trail becomes steeper as we move towards Forest Camp from Pothana. The trail goes through the forest of Rhododendron, oak, birch, hemlock to the forest camp. Overnight at Forest Camp.
The trek to Low Camp from Forest Camp is short in distance but the way up is very steep and it rewards us with the most breathtaking views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Ranges. Overnight at Low Camp.
As we move upwards the ridge becomes narrower and we can see the deep valleys on both sides. Today, we'll spend overnight at High Camp at 3,900m. The trail to High camp offers great views of Pokhara on a clear day.
Today, we will get to witness the most spectacular sunrise views over the mighty Himalayas. We will climb along the narrow Mardi Himal Base Camp to get the best views of Fishtail and Annapurna Ranges. Then we descend to Low Camp for overnight stay.

Trekking With The Best Along The Chisapani Trail and Mardi Himal in Nepal...
This was my fourth trip to the hills of Nepal and again I called on my friends at 'Nature Explore' to help plan my treks. We started with a short tune-up on The Chisapani Trail starting from the town of Nagarkot. This trail is close to Kathmandu and can be arranged as a 3-5 day hike. If you're pressed for time or just want to test your legs and lungs, this is a great way to catch some amazing views of the Himalayas and surrounding countryside. For our next outing, we decided to tackle The Mardi Himal out of Pokhara. It is longer, higher and more challenging but at 4,500 metres, you will be richly rewarded with spectacular views of Machhapuchhare or 'Fishtail' as the locals affectionately call it and on first sighting, you will understand why! The Mardi Himal isn't on everyone's list but its popularity is growing season by season. Depending on where you begin, it can be a 5-10 day trek offering lush, quiet forest trails along with breathtaking mountain vistas. It is a favourite hike with young Nepalis. What a wonderful experience to meet some singing and laughing along the trail! I was accompanied on both treks by 'Nature Explore' guide Chhabin KC and I can't say enough about his skills and knowledge as a guide but also his enthusiastic, congenial companionship.
Bharat, Dinesh, Chhabin and everyone at 'Nature Explore' grew up in the hills of Nepal. Their love of this beautiful country and its people is matched only by their passion to share it with others. Whether this is your first trip to Nepal or you are an old hand, the 'Nature Explore' team will not only get you to your mountain 'safe and sound', you will have the time of your life along the way. Five stars for The Chisapani Trail. Five stars for The Mardi Himal. Five stars for 'Nature Explore'!

A Dream Making Company! Do Not Miss Out!
Dinesh, Bharat and Chhabin! I cannot express enough gratitude to you all for your incredible hospitality and kindness during our lifetime dream holiday to Nepal. You are truly professional with great expertise and social skills when dealing with customers. As this was our first high altitude trekking adventure, we felt really prepared and safe throughout the trip, but also very well accommodated in terms of our diet and sleeping arrangements.
Most importantly, we really became close and understanding of each other, and enjoyed wonderful food and drinks together at your generosity. This was truly outstanding service, and we are certainly glad to call you all friends. We also really enjoyed hearing about your personal histories from back in the Khumbu region of Nepal and about the objective of your company. It will surely continue to grow quickly, as your attention to detail and incredible business model will gain much more attention in the future.
It is also really important to stress the amazing value this package was! It contained all meals during the trek, accommodation, buses and taxis to and from the locations and also some great hotel stays in both Pokhara and Kathmandu! We were also very much impressed that a considerable portion of your profits are invested into impoverished communities within Nepal! Both ethically and professionally you are superb people and again thank you for such a personalized experience. Also, your really nice gifts; printed t-shirt, beanie cap and personalized printed mug of achievement really sets you guys apart from the competition.
To sum it all up, i'd say Nature Explore Nepal was the best personalized guide experience we've ever had! Their kindness, willingness to open up and absolute attention to the client's needs is just sensational! A company that puts people before profits and openly profess their love for nature and their country, which speaks volumes compared to other agencies who just want to make a quick buck. Dinesh was so reasonable before we booked with him that he even said 'No matter what guide you choose for your trek, just make sure you at least choose one, as the mountains are dangerous places without the right guidance and expertise' . This was the absolute selling point for me, as I knew as a mountain lover myself that Nature Explore and Co were the genuine guys for the job. Thank you guys, for making a lifelong dream come true! Best wishes and we will certainly meet again in the not too distant future!

We had a fantastic trek organised by Nature Explore. They helped us get from A to B when the transport we had booked fell through and were always on hand to make our trip go smoothly. Our guide was brilliant - friendly, informative and caring, all help make this a trip to remember.
