Quick Overview
Introduction
Khayer Lake Trek is one of the less-traveled treks in the Annapurna Region which offers an extraordinary view of the Himalayas like the Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri massif, and Nilgiri (7061m). It is one of the most interesting and exotic treks which provides you an opportunity to explore the traditional villages, captivating scenery, infinite and diversity of culture, spectacular views of white mountains and majestic views of the river and beautiful valley. The Khayer Lake is the most beautiful and tranquil which is the prime attraction of this Annapurna Region trail mainly dominated by the colorful rhododendron forest, which blooms in Spring. Although the landscapes look amazing throughout the way, a close-up view of Annapurna South on the backdrop and its reflection on the surface of the tranquil lake makes this trek even more beautiful. Trek to Khayer Lake is a moderate trek that takes you at an elevation of 4620 meters. Months of Jan-May and Sep-Dec are the perfect months for this trek.
The Khayer Lake Trek starts with a drive from the City of Lakes, Pokhara to Nayapul and starts walking on beautifully placed stone steps to reach the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk. As we walk further, we leave the Annapurna Circuit route and follow the different trail to reach tranquil Khayer Lake. The beautiful scenery of mountains like Mt. Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Anapurna III, Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal, Tukuche peak, etc. makes this trek joyful. The pleasing views of natural beauty are the key attraction of this trek. On your way back, we can also visit another vantage point, Poonhill if we got more time. Then we descend back to Pokhara to end our trek.

"Indescribable Annapurna Trek with Guide Bharat from Nature Explore!"
I was in Nepal with my brother for 14 days (including 10 days trekking). We were picked up by Bharat and driver at Kathmandu airport. The first 1 1/2 days we were in Kathmandu and among other things we completed our equipment. Then I went to Pokhara by jeep. Another overnight stays there and the next day we went to the mountains. There were four of us, my brother, our guide, the Porter and I and did the so-called Kopra Trek - the last 2 days on the Annapurna Circuit. The trek was breathtaking. Sometimes exhausting, but we were compensated with indescribable views. Bharat knows the area and the localities very well and has looked after us around the clock. Highly Recommended!
