However, the Langtang valley is not untouched by tragedy on 2015, April 25. The devastating earthquake destroyed the whole Langtang village and more than 300 people died including tourists who were trekking at the same moment. Now most of the guest houses and lodges are already re-build and you can get a good place to spend overnight.
