Accommodation
Accommodations during the Tilicho Base Camp Trek are at teahouses which are necessarily teahouses but where you'll feel like a home and get a chance to explore Nepali culture and tradition. All the teahouses are run by locals and provide all the basic facilities including a hot shower at a low extra charge. As you go more up accommodation facilities are declined as in mountain regions it's hard to provide all the facilities but you'll find all the room simple and comfortable usually with two beds with a mattress blanket and pillows. Some will have an en-suite bathroom but most have shared bathrooms with the squat toilet in mountain areas. During your stay in Kathmandu, accommodation is more luxurious where you'll be staying in a single room with attached bathrooms, 24 hours hot water, power, TV, and laundry facility.
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be greeted by our airport representatives and transfer you to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, we may stroll in the streets of Thamel, a tourist hub in Kathmandu for some trekking gear shopping and other stuff. Overnight stay.
